Cirque du soleil - Varekai

Last weekend I went to a circus. It wasn't what I would call a normal circus since they didn't have any animals. It was more of a circus telling a story. The story told here was about what happens to Icarus after he falls into a volcano. For those of you who don't remember, Icarus is a person in Greek mythology whose father constructed  wings from feathers and wax to help him escape from Crete. These wings - obviously - allowed Icarus to fly, but he ignored his father's warnings and flew too close to the sun, so close that the wax melted and he fell into the sea. According to the Greek mythology, Icarus fell into the sea (the Icarian sea) but in the show he fell into a volcano where he met a lot of colourful characters.
Even if it wasn't really a circus, the cast did a lot of impressive acrobatics.
