What do you do when you have a four day weekend? When living far away from home it could be a good opportunity to go and visit some new places, and there are a lot of places to visit in Brazil. But no, we stayed in the lab and worked. Well, we also had a bit of fun taking pictures of the lasers...
I won't bore you with too many details, but as you can see it is a very open system and you can tune the laser all the way from ultraviolet to infrared light (which means that you can choose the colour of the light).
OK, we didn't go away this weekend, but soon we will go on a really nice trip. You will see where, all I will tell you now is that it will be cold and that you will be jealous.
