There were a lot of animals on the island and we could see quite a few during the walks through the forest. There were a lot of spiders, as you can see below. The body of the spiders (so without the legs) was typically around 5 cm.
There were a lot of different birds.
Some of the bugs were really big, as you can see in the pictures above and below, where you have my feet as a comparison.
The easiest way to find squirrels was to listen for the sound they make when they nibble on their nuts.
The ants were busy, as always, and carried large loads. There were also a lot of monkeys.
The crabs mainly hide in their holes on the beach, but sometimes they come out and dance...
We saw some beautiful hummingbirds as well.
