Back again

I'm sorry for having been absent for a while. There were some visitors here that we were showing around, so I have visited most of the important places around here again. Here are therefore some pictures from places I have already mentioned in the blog. 

The pictures above and below are from the central park - parque municipal. It is sometimes possible to see some small monkeys running around there, but they were hiding in the trees this time. It is really nice with a green oasis in the middle of the city.

What do you do if you have a road and want to add a narrow pavement on the side but there is a tree or two in the way? Of course you just make the pavement go around the trees. The question is just how many people actually walk that extra turn.

This plane is actually not crashing, but about to land in the small airport on the other side of the trees.

Here are some pictures from a park close to Pampulha lake. There is supposed to be water in the pool in the picture below, but I have never seen any when I have been there. The sign is pretty good though, it says something like "swimming, dive into a better idea!"

The building above is called the Japanese meditation house. Inside is a completely red room, see the picture below. There are no edges or corners, but everything is rounded. 

The last picture shows Mineirinho, Mineirao and the Sao Francisco de Assis church.
